The Aaron Rodger’s prediction streak continues and so does the stat of no rookie QB ever starting a Super Bowl. The Green Bay Packers are rolling right now and still considered an underdog going against the number one offense of the Atlanta Falcons.
Last week, the Atlanta Falcons took care of business capitalizing on the mistakes of my beloved Seattle Seahawks. The element that can’t be denied by this version of the Falcon’s defense is their pass rush. No QB, yes, not even Aaron Rodgers, can play against a fierce pass rush. If the Falcons can bring pressure with the front four, they will win this game.
The last time these two teams met was this year and it was Green Bay’s first loss of their four game winning streak. Look at the totals from last game’s no-defense bowl:
I think we can expect more in today’s game, a lot of passing, a lot of scoring, with Atlanta coming out on top.
Similar to last week, I expect the Packers to come out on top with a lead, maybe by 10 points. I envision that the Atlanta Falcons will still be trailing heading into the fourth quarter. Like I said, similar to last week when the Packers jumped all over the Cowboys. Although Cowboys QB Dak Prescott had a good game, he had one horrible mistake that was very ‘rookie-like.’ Matt Ryan won’t make that mistake.
