Pittsburgh Steelers (11-6) at Denver Broncos (13-3)
Like the Seahawks, the Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off of a win that they shouldn’t have received against the Cincinnati Bengals last week. Trailing 16-15 with less than two minutes remaining Ben Roethlisberger dinked and dunked his way down the field for the game winning field goal. The field goal distance however was determined by an illegal hit and unsportsmanlike penalty for touching an official by the Bengals. A complete breakdown of a tremendous comeback by Bengal’s back up QB AJ McCarron.
The Denver Broncos will be facing a Steeler team that is down pro bowl wide receiver Antonio Brown and their back up running back DeAngelo Williams. That, combined with the best defense in the NFL, is why I’m picking the Denver Broncos. Bronco’s QB, Peyton Manning, is back in the starting role and should be healthy enough to propel the Broncos to victory.
