Seattle Seahawks (10-6) at Minnesota Vikings (11-5)
The Minnesota Vikings last week won the NFC North and boy were they happy about it. They defeated the Green Bay Packers IN GREEN BAY and let everyone know about it.
Meanwhile, the Seahawks, who seem to have found their rhythm after a sloppy loss to the St. Louis Rams, put a beat down on the Arizona Cardinals without Kam Chancellor and Russell Okung.
A few weeks ago the Seahawks smashed the Vikings 38-7. It woke the Vikings up. The Vikings played the Arizona Cardinals tough four days later and lost due to poor officiating that benefited the Cardinals. Since then they haven’t lost.
This game is going to be played in historic fashion with the early weather prediction being -17 degrees with the wind chill. A lot of running and Minnesota has that advantage…IF…they can get some sort of running game established.
In a big win over the Packers last week Vikings QB, Teddy Bridgewater only had 99 passing yards and no touchdowns.
In a blowout win over the Giants a couple of weeks ago Bridgewater only had 168 yards and no touchdowns.
In other words, stop the running game and you win since Bridgewater can’t do it on his own.
On emotion the Vikings will take a 1st quarter lead. Something like 7 or 13 to 0 or 3. Then the Seahawks take over win by more than double digits and advance to play the Panthers.
My Pick: Seattle Seahawks 24 Minnesota Vikings 13
